Are you in-person or telehealth?

I see people via telehealth. That way you can be in the comfort of your own home and don't have to spend time traveling to an office. When I first started doing telehealth therapy during the pandemic, I was concerned that it would feel "less than" because I wasn't physically present with clients... but that's just not the case for me! If you're hesitant to try telehealth, we can do a 15 minute consultation via my HIPPA compliant platform and you can judge for yourself. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised if you've never done it before.

What state do I have to live in to see you?

I am actively licensed as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in California, Texas, Wisconsin, Michigan and Florida.

Do you see couples, families or groups for therapy?

I am currently only working with individuals, but you can check with me at a later time to see if that has changed.

What insurance do you take?

Currently I am seeing clients with Aetna, UHC, Cigna and Kaiser NorCal. If you don't have one of those insurance, don't worry! I have a service called Thrizer that will check your "Out of Network" coverage to find out if you can be reimbursed by your insurance company despite me being out of network. Thrizer handles all the messy billing and you just pay what your insurance doesn't cover.

Do you see people if they want to pay privately?

Yes, I have many clients that pay for their own therapy.

What if you don't take my insurance? Can I still see you?
